"Whilst recreating an ingredient exactly as it smells 'in the wild' is a hard and worthy skill, I find it much more interesting recreating an ingredient as you would imagine it to smell. Magnolias line many of the streets around where I live; the blooming of their creamy white and pink flowers changes the look of the area so theatrically that it lends a surreal, fairytale like quality for that brief period. Magnolia Heights is that moment, captured in fragrance form."
