"The natural, untreated looking leather you might see on a fine leather bag or shoe is called 'vachetta'. It seemed apt for this fragrance; a purer leather note to my mind than the sweeter, dark amber coloured 'Russian leathers' out there. Although it delivers an intense leather hit, hedion acts like a beam of light shone through the smoke. Definitely one best tried on the skin."
